Herriard were on for at least a draw but with 6 overs left of the final 20
the Game turned, losing White LBW, shortly followed by Bennett (SNR) caught,
The Berrys, Father and Son, succumbing to a couple of sharp deliveries from
C.Punter both out for ducks leaving M.Jeffreys stranded on 0 not out.

Herriard won by 7 runs. Herriard 101 all out. N. White 25, J. Beatens 22. In reply, Whiteditch were 94 all out,  Abbott scoring 31 not out.

Wednesday 21st May at home against Overton

Overton 156 for 9, Nick White 3 for 17 off 5 overs. Dave Buckland 3 for 30 off 4 overs. Herriard won by 4 wickets. M Bennett (jr) 80, D Ardley 48 not out.

Wednesday 14th May - The First Evening League game.

Away at Ramsdell, Herriard batted first, only having 10 players. Herriard slumped to 55 all out, the less said the better but the opening batsman, mentioning no names going second ball did not help.

The only ones to really hit a ball off the square were Matt, Glen and the old timer Mike Buckland.

The team spared no effort in the field and took 4 wickets but could not stop Ramsdell getting the runs easily in about the 16th over.

18th May at Holybourne -  40 over match

Herriard won the toss and elected to bat, getting to 121 for 8. Nick White scored 61 not out. Holybourne won by 6 wickets in the 34th over. Peter Reid bowled well returning figures of 1 for 15 runs in 8 overs.
